Our Story, Their Future:
Autumn's Reading Train Non-Profit Agency was established in September of 2018 in memory of Autumn Elise. Autumn Elise, born in 2015 with a congenital heart condition, gained her angel wings in 2016. Despite her brief time on earth, she cherished books, and her legacy inspires our mission today. Our organization recognizes the profound link between literacy, educational attainment, and health. We prioritize both literacy and health, understanding that a balanced life literacy is the key to a healthy heart. Autumn's Reading Train programs provide lifelong skills to youth through comprehensive literacy programs encompassing reading, healthy eating/active living, behavioral health, financial literacy and education technology. We work directly with underserved low-income children and youth ages 0-23 to cultivate healthy habits and empower them with the tools they need for lifelong success. Join us in our inspiring journey towards a more literate, knowledgeable, and compassionate world.
